Is there a way the emission works only from one side like the area light? using normals or something? thanks!

2:55 Sir. I don't know why that pole is a problem. The pole is connected to five stable squares, and like other vertex, it is connected to four or five edges. Can anyone tell me properly why I need to correct this pole part more clearly? Why is this called Pole?

5:11 Why do I have to change "Bevel"'s "Milter Outer", "Sharp" to "Arc"? I can see the where each of the bevel works, but I can't find the difference in the result. Please let me know the comment:)

Thank you. Yeah, I'm certainly going to be adding this method to my tool box. Using a shrinkwrap modifier against a clean duplicate of the cylinder also works to heal the effects of a flattened loop-tool circle, and the scaling from the center vert. Although, it may be necessary to create a vertex group that covers not just the circle to be cut, but some of the verts in the surrounding area. subscribing 👍

3:26 kinda confused me. I already follow 5x but when i hit the mirror modifier it gives me identical but the position of the other part is always slant Not really an identical and join position to another side.

One of the worst things is options and ticking things all over the place which becomes very confusing. It’s not organised into intuitive places. Also the graph editor keyframes with excessive complication and combining of keyframes everywhere. and probably worst the plug ins and modifiers and node set up is overly complicated and it’s as if they want you to be into maths to understand it all and trying to understand the effect of your actions is horrendous. The manual is overly techy and not speaking in lay terms, nor does anyone in blender help you understand with blender own tutorials and over reliance on a community who arent the developers and are guessing too. It’s as if they’ve developed software maths which works in theory but it’s what settings do you use in combination and the user has to know it all. They need support people. I spent two days on a simple fluid sim where re baking and trying to understand what each setting does in combination is nigh on impossible. What they should do is let developers like adobe do plug ins for it to keep it simple and charge people so they get better consumer feedback on what works. The shortcut memorising and shading issues with duplicated vertices are just bugs in software that make it hard to use and the tools aren’t there to ease the workflow with these types of issues. Also you have to do things like know when the software will crash when you demand too much of it (eg turning off viewport viewing etc). This should be done for you in software. It needs a big company like adobe to sort it out and start again

My brother, they are all nice rendering setting and I liked that and I'll use it, but one HUGE problem you gave me. Why did you click the '' Save Startup File''? Do you know it saves this page or file permanently? Now I can't open a new file at all. When I click the New > General page so it can't open but open the file which we saved it. Could you help me please how can I fix that with out go to ''Load Startup File''?

Excellent tutorial. Really enjoyed this. What are your thoughts on loading a gradient in to an alpha channel on your material applied to your polygon (plane) light source rather than shooting a seperate light through a gradient plane? I understand mimicking photography but wanted your views, pros and cons. For product visualisation I always use luminance with a gradient alpha so only 1 element to move (for speed).
